Our client in Durban is looking for a talented Sales and Business Development Specialist to join their growing IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) team.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective sales plans using sales methodology.  
  • Gain an understanding of customers diverse and specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them.  
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts to ensure long-term success.  
  • Network with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades.  
  • Develop positive relationships and promptly handle the customer’s requirements.
  • Generate new sales by making use of the existing and potential sales networks.
  • Resolve customer queries and handle their requirements in a timely manner.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts of products and services with the client.   
  • Report on the sales pipeline status.

Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in MSP or IT.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Minimum Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy essential.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Professionalism.
  • High degree of integrity and trustworthiness.
