Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining, Enterprise Cisco Network Devices, Local and Wide area networks, Fortigate Firewall, Security and Proxy Services. Backup Appliances, applications, and other peripherals that integrate with LAN/WAN.
- Monitoring and maintaining Cisco Switching and Routing Infrastructure, Windows Enterprise Servers, VMware vSphere, vCenter, and VMView Platforms. Backups and Replications, VoIP Infrastructure.
- Implementing effective measures to protect systems and applications.
- Communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders.
- Resolving reactive day-to-day internal and external client-related issues.
- Mentoring and assisting Junior Engineers
- Engage with other IT and Project teams for on-going projects.
- Ensure client systems remain stable and requirements are continuously met.
- Ensure ticket SLAs, deliverables and projects are met timeously.
- Communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders.
- Resolving reactive day to day internal and external client related issues.
- Provide 2nd level support.
- Grow, mentor, and upskill desktop and level 1 support teams.
- Communicates as well as adheres to relevant CCI policies, compliance policies, legislation, regulation, and client obligations.
- Enables and empowers the team to implement/execute a strategic vision or change for the better
Requirements:
- IT Diploma/ Degree with 8 Years’ experience
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE R&S
- Fortinet NSE7
- NSE5 or equivalent Network Security Experience
- Experience with Enterprise level networks.
- Experience within the Contact Centre environment is desirable.
- Attention to detail, drive, and high level of customer service. An overall hard-working individual
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be proactive in anticipating the complexities around changes within the infrastructure.
