Production Manager – Durban
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in a production management role, specifically within the FMCG sector.
Proficiency in Isizulu is mandatory, as is experience managing large teams and working with machine-related operations.
Experience in a food production environment is highly desirable.

- Tertiary qualifications in production management, engineering
- Proficiency in Isizulu is mandatory.
- HACCP / FSSC / ISO 22000
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 100+ staff.
- Experience working with machine-related operations is essential.
- Previous experience in a food production environment is highly preferable
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of over 100 staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement production schedules and processes to meet company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., quality control, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to production machinery and equipment.
- Manage budgets and optimize costs without compromising on quality.
