QA Support Specialist
As a Quality Assurance Support Specialist, you will be working alongside the Software Development team, to provide application support across a range of web and desktop bespoke applications.
The PSO & QA Team also collaborate closely with clients to provide seamless solution integration.
Responsibilities:
- To provide QA (Quality Assurance) for software developments and ensure requirements are met and acceptance criteria and is of commercially acceptable quality
- To set up campaign dashboards for new campaigns, continuation campaigns and custom campaign dashboards.
- To take a brief on improvements to an existing process or for design of a new business process and implement either changes or create a new process using the company’s bespoke solution
- To estimate the amount of work required to deliver the brief (specification document)
- Execute the work according to brief and within estimated budget and timeframe
- Quality Assurance of designer’s work or pass your work for QA
- To produce end-user facing documentation and training material for delivery with process changes or new processes
- To participate in product training as and when required and provide ‘train the trainer level’ training.
- Production of supporting documentation to improve user experience and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Matric + Relevant Tertiary Qualification in IT
- Industry Certifications
- 2-3 years in Quality Assurance and Application Support
- Experience of delivering Microsoft Power BI reporting solutions and/or advanced Excel skills
- General knowledge of using SQL
- A good standard of English communication and articulate written abilities
- Logical thinking and an ability to work to Lean methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure (meeting budget and delivery deadlines)
- Good organisational skills and the ability to learn.
Additional Info
- This will be a full-time position working from offices in Cape Town
- Head Office is located in Bournemouth, UK
- Work hours: UK hours, Mon- Fri
- 33 days annual holiday allowance.
Duration – an initial 1 year fixed-term contact with a 6 months’ probation period with the opportunity to become permanent.
