Sales Manager
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in the petroleum, chemicals, or related industries to manage existing client relationships, drive new business development, and grow sales in a dynamic and competitive market.
Qualifications:
- Required: Technical or commercial degree (or B.Tech.)
- Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in sales/marketing
Experience:
- Required (5+ years):
- Sales in petroleum, chemicals, or related industries
- Managing customer relationships.
- Developing new business in different sectors.
- Preferred:
- Customer interaction, contract management, fuel systems knowledge.
- Budgeting, logistics, and supply chain understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by managing existing customers and acquiring new ones.
- Must be able to diagnose client problems and recommend correct products
- Ensure compliance with sales procedures (pricing, contracts, payments).
- Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and increase sales.
- Gather market insights and report on trends.
- Coordinate support for customers (technical, pricing, credit, supply chain).
- Manage pricing strategies and customer credit processes.
- Market energy products and build a sales pipeline.
- Analyse sales performance and set targets.
