Warehouse Supervisor – Durban
Our client, an established Industrial Chemicals Supplier and Distributor, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years Warehouse supervision experience
- Strong organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Must be Safety-conscious with a good working knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Experience in inventory control, including tracking and maintaining stock levels.
- Ability to problem solve and identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Must be proficient in using warehouse management systems and software.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other departments and foster a positive team environment.
- Ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment and documentation.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- Assertive and confident
- Experience managing staff – good people management people skills
- Trustworthy, reliable and dependable
- Has knowledge of material handling equipment (forklifts etc)
- Able to work after hours, if required
