Aluminium and Glass Client based in Pinetown, is looking for an Operations & Planner to join their team.
 
Operations / Planner
    • Responsible for all works in progress: Commercial/ Residential & Domestic
    • Schedule installation dates and installation teams for all jobs on the system. Ensure system info is updated for all jobs in progress
    • Go through all job cards and ensure installation teams have all tools/items to complete daily installations.
    • Work closely with the factory supervisor to ensure that items are manufactured according to install dates issued
    • Dispatch teams on time and meet installation deadlines
    • Liaise directly with customers and sales reps on the progress of jobs
    • Invoicing: ensure jobs are invoiced when completed
    • Claims: ensure information on completed items for contract works is handed over to the sales reps so that they can issue monthly claims
    • Monitor progress on different sites and inform Management of any major delays
    • Safety files: Ensure that the safety files are created for commercial jobs and teams are assigned to the relevant projects. Ensure files are signed and ready to hand over to the client’s safety rep for approval, prior to the company starting installation.
    • Medicals / Certificates: ensure that medicals and relevant certificates for installers are updated and current.
    • Team allowances & accommodation: ensure that accommodation is booked, and team is paid their allowance when they are installing out of town jobs.
    • Final Measurements & Site Inspections: You will be required to take final measurements and carry out site inspections.
