Technical Sales (Sampling & Support) I Longmeadow – Gauteng
Client that specialises in a range of condition monitoring techniques, which includes the scientific analysis of used oil and other fluids from mechanical and electrical systems, is looking for a Technical Sales individual to join their team.
The main objective of this role is to achieve sales targets by maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business in sectors such as automotive, industrial, transformer, marine, aircraft and other related.
The position focuses on driving busines growth by visiting new and existing customers, generating revenue through onsite sampling services and providing technical assistance and expert advice. Ensuring high quality execution of sampling processes and meeting
performance targets is key, while also building strong customer relationships and responding to their needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12; Valid Driver’s License with own reliable vehicle;
- Atleast 3 years proven experience in Technical Sales, of a similar environment.
- Bilingual: English & Afrikaans
Duties:
- Customer relationship management
- Identify opportunities for upselling/cross
- Manager contract renewals
- Provide product support and technical assistance to customers
- Monitor customer useage and needs
- Onsite sampling and service maintenance
- Customer training and product demonstrations
- Sales reporting and forecasting
- Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Regular site visits and maintain onsite H&S Compliance
- Manage onsite samplers and sampling process
- Project Management for onsite Samplers and ensure H&S Compliance and training of onsite Samplers
- Manage Safety Files and oversee the reporting and investigation of any onsite safety incidents or nearmisses during the sampling process
Availability: The successful candidate must be available to start as soon as possible.
Salary: +-R35k CTC per month, incl R5K Car Allowance, petrol card will also be provided.
